Small semi-private groups for specific focus areas that offer weekly discussions and twice-monthly optional sessions. 

Parents

Connect with other parents of athletes & performing artists to learn more about your role in your child's mental game. Dr. Huskey will guide the discussion and provide additional information, support, and resources that teach you the sport psychology science options using sample cases and examples each week.

CMPC Cases

Join other students, aspiring, and current mental performance coaches and consultants to practice applying sport psychology theories, frameworks, and philosophies to weekly case studies. If you are currently practicing, this will help you grow your skills. If you are seeking certification as a CMPC, this group should help you review your coursework and content for the certification exam.

Pivots Mental Weightroom

For current clients at Pivot or those interested in mental training but not yet engaged in individual mental coaching sessions. We will have a weekly topic covering a mental skill, mindset shift, mental training method, etc.

Athletes with Injuries

Connect with other athletes who have recently experienced a sport injury, are working through the physical rehabilitation process, or returning to play. Often athletes who are injured are left alone to handle their own mental struggles. Dr. Huskey will guide the discussion and provide additional information, support, and resources that teach you the sport psychology science options for coping with injury, rehab, and return to play.

You will be able to collaborate with other coaches to come up with options for addressing the specific case. Connect with other aspiring, upcoming, or current team captains to learn more about leadership mindset and how perception impacts team dynamics like cohesion, momentum, roles, etc. Often team captains are elected and have little guidance on how to be a peer leader of a sport team. Alongside other entrepreneurs or solopreneurs, learn to apply sport psychology so you can focus on your own mental game of being a boss. Likely, you invest a great deal of time and energy to building your business, helping customers/clients/patients, and learning to fill new roles (like accounting and marketing). This group is designed for you to take time and invest in yourself. Dr. Huskey will guide the discussion and provide additional information, support, and resources that teach you the sport psychology science options for managing your own mental focus, physical energy, emotional agility, conflict management, team cohesion, etc.
