Small Groups

These small groups are currently being established for summer 2024 launching. Please let us know if you are interested in any of them by joining the waitlist below.

Pivot mWeightroom

For current clients at Pivot or those interested in mental training but not yet engaged in individual mental coaching sessions. We will have a weekly topic covering a mental skill, mindset shift, mental training method, etc. Members also have access to short labs and worksheets on many mental skills topics. Current Pivot clients get free access to the group when it launches.

Athletes and Injuries

Connect with other athletes who have recently experienced a sport injury, are working through the physical rehabilitation process, or returning to play. Often athletes who are injured are left alone to handle their own mental struggles. Dr. Huskey will guide the discussion and provide additional information, support, and resources that teach you the sport psychology science options for coping with injury, rehab, and return to play. Members also have access to short labs and worksheets on many relavant mental skills topics. Bonus: weekly virtual meetings

Parents of Athletes

Connect with other parents of athletes & performing artists to learn more about your role in your child's mental game. Dr. Huskey will guide the discussion and provide additional information, support, and resources that teach you the sport psychology science options using sample cases and examples each week. Members also have access to short labs and worksheets on many  relevant mental skills topics. Bonus: monthly virtual meetings

Boss Mindset

Alongside other entrepreneurs or solopreneurs, learn to apply sport psychology so you can focus on your own mental game of being a boss. Likely, you invest a great deal of time and energy to building your business, helping customers/clients/patients, and learning to fill new roles (like accounting and marketing). This group is designed for you to take time and invest in yourself. Dr. Huskey will guide the discussion and provide additional information, support, and resources that teach you the sport psychology science options for managing your own mental focus, physical energy, emotional agility, conflict management, team cohesion, etc.

Pivot Mentees and Future SPPs

Join other students, aspiring, and current mental performance coaches and consultants to practice applying sport psychology theories, frameworks, and philosophies to weekly case studies. If you are currently practicing, this will help you grow your skills. If you are seeking certification as a CMPC, this group should help you review your coursework and content for the certification exam.
